Linear Actuators

Linear Actuator is a device used to generate controlled physical linear displacement.  The two main types of linear actuators are Hydraulic and electro-mechanical.  Hydraulic actuators have a hollow cylinder and a piston inserted into it.  The two sides of the piston are alternately pressurized to achieve controlled precise linear displacement.  Electro-mechanical actuators have a rotary driver and are very compact machines.
