Parker's latest HMI offering, the CTC Interact Xpress, takes full advantage of the internet by allowing users and programmers to access and program the HMI from anywhere in the world without having to use sophisticated software. The Interact Xpress comes with a 6", 8", or 10" touchscreen display and feature CompactFlash based storage for increased life and reliability. Programming of the touchscreens is done either via connection to the interfaces built-in web client, or offline using the optional software. 35+ device communication drivers are standard. Panel tools include pushbutytons, numerical entry, selection entry, numeric displays, bar graphs, meters, gauges, sliders, message displays, and time/date display. Advanced security tools allow you to set user access levels.

Omron's NSA Industrial PC comes as a 12" or 15" touchscreen display, with a 1.3GHz Celeron M processor, 512MB RAM, a 2GB silicon storage module, and Windows XP Embedded pre-installed. This interface features no moving parts (no hard disk drive or cooling fan), for fast access and exceptional reliability and ruggedness. Two PCI slots are availablefor expandable functionality. A seperate RAS (Reliability, Availability, Serviceability) board inside the NSA continuously monitors the health of the motherboard, regardless of the operating system or hardware conditions.
