Step Motors

Step Motors consist of multiple toothed electromagnets arranged around a central metal gear.  One magnet is powered causing the motor to turn due to the inner gear’s magnetic attraction.  These rotations are each referred to as a “step”.  This process then results in the motors can be turned at precise angles.
