Linear Actuators

A linear actuator is a device that is used to generate controlled physical linear displacement. There are several types of linear actuators, including hydraulic and electro-mechanical actuators. Hydraulic actuators have a hollow cylinder and a piston inserted in it. the two sides of the piston are alternately pressurized to achieve controlled precise linear displacement. Electro-mechanical actuators have a rotary driver and are very compact machines.
