Omron's FORPHEUS table tennis tutor made a big splash at the CES show last year and it is returning in 2019 with new and improved features. The machine, which features a high-speed robotic arm, multiple 3D cameras, motion control, and machine learning by AI, will be stationed in South Hall 2 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Booth 26002.
With a number of additional control axes, FORPHEUS can now return cut/drive balls and better predict the ball position before it is even hit. It will also give you personalized coaching by advising you on how you can improve your game. If you find yourself at CES be sure to stop by the booth and see the latest display of harmonized automation between humans and machines.
