Delta Tau manufactures board level ISA, PCI, and PC-104 bus based controllers as well as standalone flexible chassis able to control up to 32 axes. Communication options include serial, Ethernet, USB, field bus, and high speed optical connectivity. Optional accessories allow tight integration of features such as additional digital and analog I/O, high resolution analog encoder interpolation, and absolute feedback. Software interface options include Visual Basic and C communication servers, Labview libraries, as well as the Delta Tau HMI package.
Power PMAC

Parker Hannifin offers stand-alone motion control solutions. Stand-alone controllers include serial, Ethernet, and field bus based communication options. ACR 9600 Controller
The ACR96XX controllers combine PLC programming with advanced motion control. The controller includes ACR-View software with all configuration, programming, and diagnostic tools in a single environment. It allows for control of 16 Ethernet Powerlink drives and up to 8 axes of servo or stepper control. Ethernet, USB, and serial communications are included as well as a CANopen Expansion I/O power for the Parker I/O family. IEC61131-3 programming allows for ladder, structured text, or CFC.

Yaskawa offers both Multi-axis standalone controllers as well as single axis controllers which mount to their servo amplifiers. Multi-axis controllers range from 2 to 8 axes of control with built-in digital and analog I/O. Single axis controllers range in capabilities from point to point parameter based control to more complex camming and gearing options. MP2300Siec Controller
The MP2300Siec is a single slot multi-axes controller offering IEC61131-3 and PLCopen programming standards, MECHATROLINK-II motion network, and up to 16 axes of motion. Open standards EtherNet/IP and Modbus/TCP allow for connectivity to many peripheral devices on the market. Eight option cards are offered for the expansion slot to accommodate most machine requirements. Numerous third-party remote I/O modules such as Phoenix, Wago, and Opto 22 can be interfaced. A built in web server offers standard controller diagnostic information eliminating the need for special software and maintenance personnel.

Copley Controls offers a variety of intelligent digital drives for both servo and stepper motor applications. Their Xenus drive is an AC powered amplifier for brushless or brushed motors which can output continuous current of up to 20A. Interfacing is possible over CANopen, EtherCAT, or MACRO networks. Copley's Stepnet amplifier is an intelligent drive for stepper motor applications which can output up to 10A of current continuously. It also includes the CANopen and EtherCAT interface options.

MACRO is an acronym for Motion and Control Ring Optical and is a non-proprietary digital interface developed by Delta Tau for a single wire connection between the multi-axis motion controllers, amplifiers, and I/O through a fiber optic or twisted pair copper (RJ45 connector) ring. MACRO minimizes wiring complexity, reduces hardware and eliminates noise in large systems. The high-speed 125 Mbits/sec transfer rate is capable of closing the servo loops across the MACRO ring, allowing the flexibility to choose distributed intelligence or centralized control. Delta Tau offers several MACRO controllers including the Turbo PMAC2 Ethernet Ultralite which is a controller capable of handling up to 32 axes of motion. They also offer the Geo MACRO amplifier which is a one or two axis PWM amplifier that can interface with their controllers over the MACRO interface.

Yaskawa's Sigma-5 Servo series has now been enhanced with the MP2600iec single axis motion controller. The compact controller/servo combination provides standardized programming on Yaskawa's latest high quality servo system. The single-axis MP2600iec rounds out the MP2000iec controller family, allowing applications to scale up from single to multi-axis control within a standard IEC61131-3 programming environment, MotionWorks IEC.
