TRAINING CALENDAR

AXIS New England is dedicated to helping our customers develop automation proficiency. We maintain a fully equipped, 1500 square foot, training room at our Danvers facility. Workshops are hands-on and taught by experienced Field Application and System Engineers. Unless otherwise noted, workshops are full day (8:30 am - 4:30 pm) and include lunch. Custom workshops are available upon request.

DALSA Vision Workshop I & II

The course focuses on hands-on exercises with DALSA’s BOA Smart Camera and their iNspect software. Students will learn the basics of camera setup, image acquisition, and image pre-processing. Students will be exposed to vision tools, understanding program flow, and communications protocols. An optional second day focuses on advanced vision tools using DALSA’s powerful Sherlock software and Genie Gigabit Ethernet cameras.

This course will familiarize users with PLC ladder programming. Students will learn how to communicate to and write a PLC program using a variety of instructions. An optional second day will focus on customer specific applications, advanced PLC functions (tag based programming, remote I/O, industrial network protocols, etc.), as well as exposure to five IEC61131-3 programming languages supported by Omron. Omron PLC workstations will be provided for use during the class.
